What I do

"Shooting any event comes down to important moments & important people."

-What Do You Need. First, I like to meet with the event organizer or with the person who will be dealing with the images after the event. Knowing who & what to shoot is more important than what you would like to do with the final images. Having quality photos doesn't mean a thing if they aren't of the things you need. Going over the event before the start, either on the phone or at the event is crucial to the success of the photographs and is provided as a service at no extra charge.

-The Photography Thing. After discussing the content of what I'll be photographing, I get to work. Finding good angles & metering the amount of light. I do "the photography thing" for the entire event.

-Checking in. On occasion surprises happen at events; speakers cancel last minute, times get changed & so on. That's why having a contact person at the event will help ensure you get the coverage you want of your event. I can also provide this service.

-The End Results. Once your event has finished or my work at your event is finished, it's time to deliver the images. Depending on what the final use of the images are, most photos can be available about an hour after the end of the event or, if you have a web master, can be posted to a web site while the event is in progress. Please visit the "Extras" section of the site to learn more about other options.
